Musical week

Hey, I had a check up last Monday. We didn't wait as long as we did the first time. The doctor said I would have my cast off maybe 6-8 weeks then I'd have a splint of somekind to suport it. after that it should be fully healed. My cast is so gross and grimy. Once in a while I forget I have it and pick up some food with it and it gets into the cracks and it's so gross now lols. It smells too. There's no room left to write on it...some recently people have just written a little bit over each other or on the tape:o. lols

Brianna, Serah's sister came to me with a neverending stream of kid bracelets and necklaces and such. You know the plastic ones. It was awesome, although she was so blackmailing me, she said she'd throw them out if I didn't take them :o. So naturally I took them:D. Don't get me wrong there were non plastic stuff there too, but you know what I mean by kids jewelery. I found two strechy bracelets that fit over my cast, I haven't taken them off since:D I'm so happy.

It's a long weekend because of Victoria Day on Monday. I'm so bored. Serah went to visit her Grandparents this weekend. Sarah is moving so I can't really call her. I think Lynds is doing something too. Kelly said she was busy. Time to get out the old movies! I've been meaning to watch Bambi or Aladin.

I actually wanted to paint my room this weekend. But mom definitaly said no! So here I am bored on a Saturday. I supose I could try to start/finish some of my many projects, but I need too get the perfect colours for my poncho, I lost the hook for my rug hooking, I'd have to start a new dishcloth ( I really don't want to), I can't find the book I got from the library, the other book from the library is like the size of websters dictionary (huge), and my room is pretty much clean.

So I'll just watch a movie:) Although I'll probaby start playing music (I know non is playing right now:O) and loose track of everything. I found out about alot of bands/artists this week that I like!! ok first is My Chemical Romance- a new-ish band that some girls in my gym class had in the CD player, Then came Nirvana- well ok so I knew about them before, but I was listening to them in gym class and I knew all the songs (they were unknown song names and artist kind of songs) and so yeah I love them now:D, Black Label Society- In west reads I was bored so I asked Andrew (Andy Pandy) if I could listen to his mp3 and he had been listening to them :D I now like them alot, I guess Great Big Sea came next- I knew about them but I heard Ordinary Day on the radio and search them on the radio and I found out a whole bunch of songs I like were by them, Then Justin(Justein) showed me a band called Triumph- I think I might have heard it before, Ok then Justein showed me Joe Satriani an amazing Guitarist :D lols I'm sure there was one more...oh well I can't remember now I have Ben E King- Stand by me playing so *shrug* (I couldn't hold out any longer lols)

Oh my gosh my little Chunky Mc Serah Milk has fallen in love! *tear* I'm so happy for her. lols it make my heart feel light lols kind of odd, hey just telling the truth. When she told me of her goings on this past 2 weeks I had no clue what to say, I feel bad, I tried to say what I thought hopefully that helped a bit. She has replied yet so who knows.

Lynds got gmail which is cool, maybe she'll use it unlike matt and kelly who got it and forgot about it. lols. I found the artist behind the song " Have a little faith in me" Which I really like now. John Haitt, I don't think it's a copy, I hope it's not. I really don't like that sometimes when I can't find the origional artist who was the first to make the song, because there's always more of it later if it's a really good song. I Hope I never do that. This is my picture replacement.

weekend/monday!

I won't be updating as much now because of my finger but I'll try.

Today I went to Cheo and got my proper cast on...even though we had an appointment we were there from 10am till 2:00. I had to get another x-ray then a doctor had to look at it( which I saw no point to. That took the longest too) then I finally got a cast put on it which took like 10 minutes! Frusterating! The building was so cool! It was painted and set up for kids so it's all colourful and stuff!

After that we went to Wendy's and I got Spicy chicken fillet all over me, the seat, and the ground! It was really good! We the went to zellers and I got some shorts for summertime:) ( The green ones are my favourite!) there were blue camouflage capri's but they were size like 32! I'm a 5,6,7,8,maybe 9-10. Depends on the day/companie/style/if I like them lols!

On the weekend I stayed at a Hotel in Ottawa with my Aunt and Uncle and cousins. Plus a friends of my Aunt and Uncles and there 2 kids! 6 kids in all! We were in the pool/hot tub/water slide the whole time basically. We left on sunday about noon.

We then went to the tulip festival. We looked at the flowers for a while. There was a big patch of yellow tulips and there was a single "mutant" tulip that was split perfectly down the middle, the left side was yellow and the right side was red!!!It was awesome, we didn't see any others like it again.

This is not the tulip we saw it does looks almost exactly like this, but ours was opened up.

mmmmm....leftover chinese food! Mostly the Chicken fried rice:D So near the end of my first tulip festival visit we "lost" my little cousin. Two minutes later we found her. We I knew would happen! lols So then we left faster. We went to grandma's house:) It was great to see everyone there...and everyone except one of my oldest cousins was already gone to vancouver I think to plant trees for 3 months.

My family as always was the last to leave:) Then I rushed home to organize Form pick-ups for today!

So yeah that's my weekend/monday!

Finger! Part 2

Ok so I went to my chiropractors, by then It was just starting to bruise but you could barely see it. It was the same size the swelling hadn't come down and it was still crooked. My chiropractor checked it out, she thought it was sprained or something she didn't want to pop it back into place for me so we took a trip to the Almonte Hospital down the road a peice.

We got there waited about 45 mins-an hour to see a doctor. Then he poked at it asked where it hurt. He said it was just a head on jam. It'll just be SORE and then he taped my middle finger and my SORE finger together. So I couldn't flip anyone the bird. So in short he basically said to my face " It'll just be sore lets just tape it up." as I look at my balloon of a finger that isn't facing the same way as my other 3 fingers.

I was so mad...we left there pretty quick though I think everyone should know that I wasn't rude and I was only holding up my 2 fingers not flipping him the bird in anyway:D So mom asked if I wanted to go back to the chiropractors I said YES! (She has an x-ray machine) So we arrived and she had to hold up a bunch of people to sqeeze us in (I felt real bad) I told her what the doctor had said. By now my whole finger basically was bruised purple.

So she x-rayed it and found out it was a brake which she didn't think it was and it's in the bottom section of my finger which she didn't think it was. It's called a spiral brake. It's a clean brake and it's kinda slanted across my finger.

So now we took a trip back to the hospital, that doctor was still there and he was like what are you doing here?(he didn't say that but you could tell that's what he was thinking) So he looked at my x-rays and called me in told me what it was.(oh by the way doctors don't like chiropractors and chiropractors don't really like doctors) He then put my hand in a wet fast setting kind of mold,and wrapped it in a tenser bandage. It's just temporary. On friday I'm going to cheo for some special thing they have to do because of my slanted top part of my finger.

So we fibally got back home around 6:30. That's total of 3 hours to get this mold thing.Which is really good considering If I had gone to cheo I would have had to wait atleast 3 or 4 hours just to get through the waiting line.

So I'm not aloud to bike, play guitar, pactisipate in gym, and I'll be bored out of my mind. I also missed picking up all the forms in from people in the village.

Finger!

Ok so today I got up early(thank god my getting up late and missing the bus bad luck is over) caught the bus on time no problem. I had found my brothers rugby sock which is now mine because it was in my room and wore it today:) So I forgot to do the homework again that was due on monday for English (first period) but that was ok I'll do it tonight for sure.

Second period I had gym. So my teacher talked for a while then said " we'll be doing dodgeball today" we were all like sweet (we'd been have Health monday last week till now so it was a releif to do something else!) So we got into teams and set up and everything.(each team got 4 mats to hide behind and such) So about 2 minutes into the game I was in "no mans land" as I like to call it(the middle of the gym between the 2 teams)

Somebody (I remember who it was to lols) (Jen) Chucked the dodge ball at my hand and it went numb for like a minute then it was like hurting. I pretty much knew right away that I had broken or sprain my finger(don't ask how I just knew)Me being stupid and thinking we were playing DR. dodgeball sat down right in the middle of no mans land lols. so after being told to sit over there my finger really started to hurt so I went to look for the teacher but she wasn't there but our PAL was there. She said wait for her. As I waited my finger started swelling up so when the teacher Finally got back it was twice the size of what it used to be.

She brought me to the little freezer in the Gym office looked at it and got kinda freaked out then handed me a paper cut full of frozen water. I had to sit and watch my team loose 3 times!!! Not fun. After that was lunch. I had Alpha-geti for lunch and Megan helped me nuke it in the microwave in the caf.

So I eat my food and nothing exciting was happening so I figured I should probably go to the office and call my mom.

The office person looked at my finger then went to get an ice pack for me(she's really nice) while I called my mom. I got the answering machine. So I left because heaven forbid I was to leave kelly by herself for to long! (lols) So I was sitting on the bench with my friends I wasn't Icing my finger then because I was suposed to take it off for 15 minutes and put it on for 15 minutes. Anyways so suposedly scott got pushed into me he ended up sitting on me and my finger which really hurt...(I swore :S) then the bell rang and I went to French then I was called down to the office cause my mom called back.

The office lady had a look at my finger and said she didn't think it was to good that it was crooked. It might be broken or sprained. The swelling is still twice the size of what it's suposed to look like. (It's my left pointing finger.) So mom came to get me, and now I'm home...it's 2:04. We got homa around 1:10 I'm waiting until 3:00 so I can get it x-rayed at my chiropractors (don't ask)

Yep so that's what's happened so far today hopefully I'll be able to collect all the forms from people in Carp on my bike. For Relay for life. When I get back I'll write about what wrong with my finger.
